Walnut Shade to Ellsinore

This 197‑mile ride rolls out of Walnut Shade and trades the usual Highway 60 run for the far more scenic sweep of Highway 160. The pavement twists through open country and river valleys before turning north on Highway 21 out of Doniphan, where the curves stretch long and the views settle into that wide‑open Ozarks feel. Highway 160 may be a major route, but it rides like a backroad — plenty of scenery, plenty of motion, and enough sweeping curves to keep the whole day interesting.
