Ride and Explore
This 226‑mile Mountain Home – Pedestal Rock Loop ties together some of Arkansas’s best scenic byways and delivers a full day of classic Ozarks riding. The route rolls through big elevation changes, long ridge views, and deep forest corridors before taking you past the famous Pedestal Rocks Scenic Area, one of the state’s most striking natural landmarks. The mix of sweeping curves, tight twisties, and shifting terrain keeps the ride engaging from start to finish, with plenty of stretches that feel tailor‑made for a rhythm ride.
Fuel planning is essential on this loop. Jasper is your last guaranteed stop, and from there it’s 54 miles to Witts Springs, where gas is hit‑or‑miss, and then another 24 miles to Marshall. Once you’re topped off, the rest of the loop is pure Ozarks motion — rugged, scenic, and packed with the kind of riding that makes this region legendary.
